Abstract

The minutes of the various social and religious Karaite organizations shed light on the most important questions of their existence in the Republic of Poland after WW I, when the Karaites had to reestablish their legal, religious and social position.

Od 1991 r. zatrudniony w Zakładzie Źródłoznawstwa i Nauk Pomocniczych Historii Instytutu Historii UAM. Członek Komisji Historycznej Poznańskiego Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Nauk. W latach 1999–2000 wykładał na University of Notre Dame (Indiana, USA). Jest autorem ponad 250 publikacji naukowych; obecnie prodziekan Wydziału Historycznego Uniwersytetu im.
