Abstract

This is a brief announcement to inform the readers about the upcoming 4th International Congress of Turkology organized by the Department of Turkish Studies and Inner Asian Peoples of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University of Warsaw and invite them to take part in it. The congress is planned to be held on September 21–23, 2016.

Doktor nauk humanistycznych, historyk i antropolog kultury, adiunkt w Zakładzie Turkologii i Ludów Azji Środkowej Wydziału Orientalistycznego Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Prowadziła badania terenowe i archiwalne w Turcji, Turkmenistanie, Niemczech oraz w Rosji i Wielkiej Brytanii. Zajmuje się szeroko pojętą kulturą tradycyjną ludów tureckich oraz problematyką mniejszości etnicznych i wyznaniowych w Turcji. Autorka prac na temat dziejów, tradycji i obrzędowości Turków w Anatolii, Turkmenów w Azji Środkowej i mniejszości w Turcji, w tym Polaków.
