Abstract
The 10th court register documents cases registered in the record office in Crimean Khanate between the years 1666 and 1669/70. The purpose of this article is to present unpublished legal material regarding Karaims listed in this register as parties to proceedings as well as to collect data such as names, fathers’ names, places of origin or residence as well as the subject matter dealt with in particular cases. An analysis of this data will not only contribute to a better understanding of the individual biographies of Karaims inhabiting 17th century Crimea, but may also serve as a starting point for further research based on the source material.
