Abstract
This is a brief announcement to inform the readers about the upcoming 8th Conference of Polish Turkologists organized by the Chair in Turkish Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and invite them to take part in it. The conference is planned to be held on April 27–28, 2016.

Ekspert Państwowej Komisji Egzaminacyjnej Ministerstwa Sprawiedliwości dla tłumaczy przysięgłych z języka tureckiego. Stały współpracownik magazynu „Okręty Wojenne”. Autor monografii i kilkudziesięciu artykułów poświęconych historii Imperium Osmańskiego w pierwszym 20-leciu XX w. oraz współautor Kieszonkowego słownika turecko-polskiego polsko-tureckiego
